Thermal Receipt Printer
The most popular receipt printer models are thermal printers. It's not hard to understand why they replaced the older impact-printer in most environments--they are fast, silent, and (since they are thermal) they don't require a ribbon. You see thermal receipt printers in a wide range of retail environments: department stores; specialty stores; Starbucks; supermarkets; Barnes & Noble; etc.
Our most popular model can also print your logo on the receipt, and offers the auto-cut feature (so that you don't have to tear each receipt off manually).

Cash Drawer
The simplest--and most popular--model is our standard cash drawer shown here. It connects to the computer via the receipt printer, and automatically opens as the receipt printer starts to print. Brackets are also available for mounting the drawer under a shelf if desired.

Barcode Scanner
The laser scanner is a high-performance 'point-and-shoot' triggered device which automically scans 36 times per second until a 'good read' occurs...which means that it reads the barcode instantaneously. It is also industrial strength--drop-tested with multiple 5-foot drops to concrete.

Magstripe Card Reader
When you integrate your credit card processing with POSIM's NowCharge module, POSIM will streamline your credit card process...it will automatically ask you to swipe the credit card, know the dollar amount to be charged, and will store the authorization code in it's copy of the sales receipt. The card swipe will also capture the expiration date and hidden characters that will let the processor know that the sale was in 'card present' mode.
This small USB magstripe reader is the device that reads the credit card information and transmits it into the computer for authorization. And since it comes with double-sided velcro, it can easily be mounted on your monitor to allow easy access when swiping the customer's credit card.
Finally, this magstripe reader also supports Gift Cards, as does POSIM.

Customer Price Display
This Customer Price Display provides an important function in retail environments which service many tourists or customers where English is not their primary language. And certain states require them for retail stores.

Thermal Barcode Printer
This thermal barcode label printer is ideal for most retail environments. It is fast, quiet, and--since it is a thermal printer--does not require a ribbon. Barcode labels are available in different sizes, and come in rolls that drop into the printer.
NOTE: if products in your retail environment are stored outdoors, or are regularly exposed to water, different models are available for these environments.
